New Alternatives for Children Benefit Gala 2008

New Alternatives for Children held their 26th Annual Benefit Dinner and Auction on October 30, 2008 raising over $1 million for the cause. NAC, an organization whose mission is to provide innovative, high quality services in support of birth, foster, and adoptive families who are caring for children with special medical needs at home, held their annual benefit gala at the prestigious 583 Park Avenue venue. It was Tracy Kessler and TK New York’s honor to donate its services to such a wonderful organization. The gala held raffles and auctions, both silent and traditional, and speeches from the evening’s honoree, Glenn A. Britt, President and CEO of Time Warner Cable Inc. Items such as walk on roll on the new ABC series Life on Mars and a hand-made quilt designed and created by NAC children were auctioned off. The evening’s success marked the beginning of a long partnership between NAC and TK New York.
