With MLB ALL-STAR weekend taking over New York City, TK New York collaborated with MLB.com to produce their annual ’33 Club ALL-STAR Party. This year the party was held at the legendary Roseland Ballroom in New York City and was hosted by Alyssa Milano and Joba Chamberlain of the New York Yankees. It was the most talked about ALL-STAR party of the weekend with numerous media mentions such as US Weekly, New York Post, In Touch and The Daily News. TK New York utilized every inch of the ballroom transforming the entire upstairs into a VIP lounge with bottle service. DJ Vice spun the night into action with his infectious dance beats. Wyclef Jean wowed the crowd with an incredible action packed performance and the infamous DJ Jazzy Jeff sealed the night by keeping the dance floor packed until 3 AM. TK New York transformed Roseland as it has never seen before. Crystal chandeliers hung from the ceiling at different lengths creating an elegant ambience. Crystal Weeping Willows cascaded over the lounge areas in a fairy-tale like way. The raised bottom-lit dancer platforms created a stage upon which aerialists and dancers performed. TK New York also constructed a four-sided bar in the middle of the dance floor which surrounded a hydraulic lift platform spotlighting the Mirror Man contortionist throughout the evening. TK New York worked closely with sponsors to create a completely branded space. Thanks to Grey Goose all of our bars were stocked to the max. Nintendo supplied our event with 6 WII stations to create a gaming section where guests could play baseball as well as other sports. Alyssa Milano’s clothing line, Touch, dressed all of our models and dancers. MasterCard sponsored the photo area where guests could enter the curtained photo booth and capture their night on a classic picture strip. One of our biggest hits was our money grab wind tunnel machines. Guests could climb in and try and grab a real $100 bill for a chance to either keep the money or receive an autographed baseball from our hosts. With the likes of Alyssa Milano, Joba Chamberlain, Wycelf Jean, Derek Jeter, Kevin Connelly, Richie Rich, “America’s Next Top Model” winners Jaslene Gonzalez and CariDee English, Danny Aiello and 2008 Home Run Derby winner Justin Mornearu gracing the red carpet, the party was labeled by many as “the most fun of ALL-STAR weekend”.
